Emotions can be quite a beautiful thing,
like happiness, love; things emotions can bring.
Sometimes emotions are not to your favor.
They can feel bad and affect your behavior.
Emotions can sometimes get out of control.
Make our lives, not so great, and take a huge toll.
There are certain ways we can learn and discover,
to control our emotions, from a sad place; recover.
We need regulation.
We don’t need repression.
Repressing our feelings can lead to depression.
Allowing emotions to explode every day,
means we’re out of control
and we can’t live that way.
When we feel, our emotions are going to escape,
we can take a big breath, or take a short break.
Excuse yourself from a bad situation.
One thing that can help is to learn meditation.
When you find yourself feeling tension and stress.
Look up some practices like “mindfulness”.
Get enough sleep, make time to have fun.
Spend time in nature when your school day is done.
Watch a movie, have a snack, or go for a walk.
You probably have friends, with whom you can talk.
Think about this, learn, decide what to do.
Do you control your emotions or do they control you?
